| Biography: |
“Paulius has excellent skills. In signing him, we certainly took a step in the right direction as we attempt to fortify the post position. Having coached other Lithuanian born basketball players, I know they possess a certain level of competitiveness and skill beyond their years. Our team needs both and assuming he has the passion, he will be a great addition.” — USC Head Coach Dave Odom
2003-04 OUTLOOK
Chose USC because he felt very comfortable with the coaching staff, the Gamecocks’ style of play and he recognized the opportunity to play right away … Another big body to play inside ... Coach Odom has had such great success with Lithuanian players before and looks for Paulius to fall in that successful category (Darius Songaila at Wake Forest and Marius Petravicius at USC).
