FAYETTEVILLE — The Razorbacks are headed for prime time in the fall.

ESPN announced Wednesday that Arkansas’ Sept. 19 football game against Georgia in Reynolds Razorback Stadium will be televised on either ESPN or ESPN2. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. The Bulldogs are the first Southeastern Conference opponent on the Razorbacks’ 2009 schedule, and the nationally televised game will mark the first time the two teams have played each other in Fayetteville since 2004.

ESPN officials will decide after Sept. 12 whether to put the Arkansas-Georgia game on ESPN or ESPN2. The Razorbacks had two games shown on national TV last season — their 52-10 loss at Texas on ABC and their 31-30 win over LSU on CBS.
