FAYETTEVILLE — Spring practice under new Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino will stretch from April 3 and end with a scrimmage in Reynolds Razorback Stadium on April 26.

Petrino announced the Razorbacks’ spring plans during Arkansas’ National Signing Day news conference on Wednesday. He said Arkansas originally planned to end spring practice with a scrimmage on April 19, but bumped it back a week to accomodate fans.

“Too many events in the city of Fayetteville on the 19th,” Petrino said. “No hotel rooms available. So we had to back it up a week. It will fit in good into our schedule.”
