"I've always dreamt about being a Razorback"

UA Football Recruiting

Colin Tucker of Pearce High School in Richardson, Texas along with teammate Matt Harris have made their commitment to Arkansas. Tucker talks about choosing his dream school.

Colin Tucker had a load of offers to choose from, but in the end, everyone was playing catch up with Arkansas.

"I sure did," said Tucker when asked if he committed to Arkansas this weekend. "I committed to them on Saturday. I got an offer from early April, and I committed this weekend.

What put the Razorbacks on top?

"A lot of things, my whole family is from up there. I've always dreamt about being a Razorback for a very long time. They offered my teammate Matt Harris, and he committed too. I drove up there a couple of days before the camp with Marcus Shavers, and we've gotten to be really good friends. He and Casey Dick, they've both already committed, and I really like them two. I don't think you'll find a more enthusiastic and excited coach than Houston Nutt. The whole staff really treated me good, and they made me feel like they genuinely wanted me real bad. It's just where I wanted to be."

Tucker's Pearce team finished 8-4 on the season last year, and they return approximately six starters on offense and seven on defense. They begin summer practice in pads on August 9th as they gear up for their opener against Colony.

Anchoring the left side of the line will be Colin Tucker from his tackle position, and that's always a key spot on any team to have solidified.
