Arkansas Makes Sutherland's Final Four
Flower Mound, Texas, Marcus standout Keaton Sutherland (6-6, 280) tweeted out his list on Thursday – Arkansas, Baylor, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.
Sutherland, who has 16 offers, has two brothers currently attending the University of Arkansas, has been on campus numerous times and is a big fan of Razorback offensive line coach Sam Pittman.
"I've talked to him (Pittman) a lot," Sutherland told Hawgs Illustrated in an earlier interview. "I've seen him coach and teach players and he does it better than anyone I have ever seen before."
Among the other schools who have offered Sutherland include Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Clemson, Miami, Nebraska, TCU, Texas Tech Rutgers.
He told Scout.com last month what he was looking for in a college.
"Just have fun at college," Sutherland said. "Make sure it's a good college environment and I'd be able to live there for the next four years. Obviously, great football, and good academics as well.
"Mainly, the coaches," Sutherland added. "I wanna get good relationships with the coaches because they're gonna be basically my parents for the next four years," Sutherland added.
Sutherland, who is also an outstanding defensive end, was asked to assess his strengths.
I think that I'm really athletic and I move my feet really well and I think my smarts helps a lot too," Sutherland said. "... I know a lot about the game and I think my feet are just really the biggest part about my game."
