Singleton Making Signing Day Decision

The Missouri Tigers will find out on Wednesday if they will receive the services of JUCO safety prospect Duron Singleton as he gives us the latest on where things are at with his recruitment and upcoming decision.

As the clock runs down toward National Signing Day, ShowMeMizzou.com has learned that the Missouri Tigers are the current favorite for highly-regarded junior college safety prospect Duron Singleton 6'1" 210 Fresno (CA) City College.

Singleton has informed me that he will announce his decision at 10:00 A.M. P.S.T. on Wednesday.

He also named Missouri and Syracuse as his finalists, and he continues, as he has for more than two weeks, to name Missouri as his favorite.

Singleton will graduate from Fresno City College in May, and he will have two years to play two, beginning with the 2013 season. Singleton said that he has done 16 reps in the bench press at 225 pounds, has a 37” vertical jump, and has been timed at 4.50 in the forty yard dash. This season at Fresno City College, he had 87 tackles and four interceptions, including a pair for TDs, along with two forced fumbles and two sacks.

"I've always liked Missouri," said Singleton, who also said that he likes the idea of playing in the SEC.
