Game 4 In Italy

Rickey Scott

Hawgs Illustrated serves up a live blog from Rome as Arkansas takes down All-Star Italy 93-73 to end its four-game exhibition swing through Italy with a unbeaten record.

7:24 p.m.

Yet another un-airconditioned gym to close out the four games. This All Star Italy squad played Georgia well, but got blown out by Purdue, Tennessee and VCU.

So one would think this would be an easy win.

Jacorey Williams is not dressed out, but is on bench.

Arkansas now up 20-17 and one of the Italians just throwed a bow after the play. Doesn't like to be guarded closely I guess.

Same guy throws a body block on guy on Ky on way to goal. No call.

Coach Anderson called timeout. Has called both teams together and is talking about how this is a basketball game, not a football one.

The Italy center lost a ball going up, grabbed it after it went out of bounds and - I think - pledged his devotion to it for the rest of his life if it would not leave his hands again.

He ended it by kissing the basketball. The ball was promptly taken to be wiped off.
